High-concentration natural rubber latex
Regitex TRH-70 is a high-concentration natural rubber latex developed by our company. Currently, the mainstream natural rubber latex available on the market has a concentration of 61% and is primarily used for molding applications such as gloves, balloons, and foam rubber, as well as for adhesive applications. Additionally, to improve drying properties, products concentrated to about 68% have been commercialized using evaporation and creaming methods. However, latex produced by the evaporation method uses caustic potash and soap during the manufacturing process, resulting in poor drying properties despite its high concentration. Furthermore, the dried film has weaknesses such as low strength and high moisture absorption. Latex produced by the creaming method retains the creaming agents used during manufacturing, which leads to the progression of the creaming phenomenon during long-term storage, causing an increase in concentration in the upper layer and a decrease in concentration in the lower layer, resulting in troubles. Regitex TRH-70 was developed to address these shortcomings. TRH-70 is produced using an evaporation method with a special manufacturing device. Here, we introduce the properties, characteristics, and applications of this product.
